Our Culinary Arts simulations bring the heat of a professional kitchen right to your headset. Learners can explore the world of culinary careers through immersive, hands-on experiences- learning essential techniques, managing a virtual kitchen, and discovering what it’s really like to work in the culinary industry.
Explore Culinary Arts- Career Exploration
In this option, students can dive into a variety of short, interactive simulations- each designed to showcase careers within the culinary arts. With the freedom to explore multiple paths, learners can quickly discover what excites them (and what doesn’t), helping them make more informed decisions about their future.
Available for up to 15 students at a time, this option is perfect for learners who are interested in learning more about the culinary business, and what it’s like to work within restaurants.
Estimated Time: 5 minutes per simulation
In this option, students can try out 4 different culinary experiences, aligned to ServSafe credentials. In partnership with the Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association, these simulations are great for learners who have an understanding of ServSafe food and kitchen safety.
Simulations include: Washing the Dishes, Handwashing, Cooker + Freezer Preparation, and a Game Show Challenge
